Nature, hymns, and scripture are all beautiful things that can help us learn about and grow closer to God. When I wrote a round-up of nature-inspired hymns a few years ago, people seemed to connect with it. That post is what game me the idea to write a nature + hymn study and offering it as a gift to you!
I recently started writing nature studies because I couldn't find what I was looking for. To me, a nature study should be filled with literary flair and opportunities to really connect with what we're studying. In the same style as my cardinal nature study and upcoming sparrow nature study, I've created a free nature study using the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful.
This free PDF is 13-pages long and includes the words to the hymn, background information about it, copywork pages, and a liturgy study of the Apostles' creed. There's also a nature study, nature investigation, and diagram about the brightest thing in Creation- the sun!
